Natural disasters
When a natural disaster strikes, the churches around the world should use their networks to gather donations to give to their sister churches near the disaster. These will help rebuild church communities in the disaster area to be the foundation of the broken community. This is not about rebuilding some idolatrous monolithic golden temple, but rather a godly community whose focus is being the servant God to the community. In a world where government corruption is rife, and in a situation where selfishness is one’s primary instinct, those who fear God are least likely to horde donations to themselves and most likely to direct funds to the best places to rebuild the community. God uses natural disasters to soften people’s hearts, making them aware of the futility of this life and the importance of the community.
