People who follow prophecies
These holy people knew the ancient prophecies, that this was the time for the Messiah to come. When they saw Jesus, they knew in their spirit that this was the Messiah promised since the beginning of the world. They weren’t looking for a mighty warrior who would bring world power to the Jews, but they were looking for a precious baby boy.
At that time, some Kurdish priests saw a particular star that signaled the birth of the Savior of the world. And so, they began their pilgrimage to come and worship God who had come to be born as a man.
