The flight to Egypt
Matthew 2:13 And when they left, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Get up, and take the young child and his mother, and flee to Egypt. And stay there until I bring you word. Because Herod will search for the young child to destroy him.”
14When he got up, he took the young child and his mother by night and departed for Egypt. 15And stayed there until the death of Herod. This fulfilled what was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, “I’ve called my son out of Egypt.”a

Around that time, there was a large Jewish settlement in Alexandria, which would have taken ten days to get to.
